Choices (16-19yrs) Supported Volunteering
Funded by Worcestershire County Councils Children’s Services, Choices is a supported group volunteering project from Worcester Volunteer Centre that promotes volunteering to young people (aged 16-19yrs) with disabilities, supporting the development of communication, social and team-work skills via a ‘pre-volunteering’ programme.
Choices is providing a continuing range of activities where young volunteers work together as a group, supported by Worcester Volunteer Centre staff. The new experiences and skills gained from group volunteering hopes to allow any young person the opportunity to then move into a more regular volunteering placement.
If you are interested or know someone who would like to volunteer for Choices we would love to hear from you! Volunteer activities are every Friday and will offer a wide variety of opportunities - there is something for everyone! Each Friday is optional and we can discuss what placements would be of most interest and benefit to you. For enquiries and to join please contact either:
