• A mobile toy library assistant is required to help the toy library outreach worker, loading and unloading the van and cleaning toys. Travel expenses will be paid.
• Help is needed on Mondays at a local lunch club operating once a fortnight, serving lunches and assisting with activities.
• A national organisation is looking for a volunteer Divisional Secretary to work for 1 to 1½ days per week in the Wyre Forest area of Worcestershire.
• Administrator is required to help with basic filing, typing letters etc. at a local Borrowers’ Toy Library. Travel expenses will be met.
• The British Heart Foundation is launching a ‘Balloon Appeal’ to raise funds for an Intra Aortic Balloon Pump for our local hospital. There are several opportunities for volunteers including a Lead Appeal Ambassador who would undertake activities in local groups, associations and companies.
• Are you interested in local history? An Archive and research assistant is needed at a local venue and also an Outreach assistant.
• A local charity needs volunteers to help in their shop to serve customers, and deal with cash sales.
• A part-time volunteer co-ordinator is required at a local college to find volunteers to work in a number of environments including the college campus and the local area. They will also be required to process CRB checks and keep records.
• A play worker is needed at a local centre on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 4 – 5.30pm working with 5-12 year olds doing crafts, games etc.
• Kitchen help wanted for a local club on Monday afternoons 2-4pm serving teas and washing up.
