SHYPP are launching a supported Lodgings Scheme through Worcestershire County Council. The scheme is being developed to help young people; particularly those leaving the care system aged 16-21 who might be made homeless as a result of family breakdown. The project is seeking hosts who can provide a supportive and encouraging environment and have a genuine interest in helping young people to make the most of their skills and abilities. There will be a weekly payment provided to the host to go towards the support given to young people and costs of providing a room.
